The present book was originally published in German in 1922, containing 87 of his studies. This volume presents the material in English for the first time. It further contains additional versions and corrections of Sehwers' studies along with all his other studies. In this new edition, the compositions and analysis have been thoroughly reanalyzed by FIDE Master Carsten Hansen.
